NOTICE! Our $25,000 Texas ProAm Challenge will be on the following weekend! (8/30-9/1) You are welcome to leave your trailer after this weekend’s races until then to save your spot and save on fuel by not having to haul it home & then back again! (Please do not park in an RV spot unless you have a yearly spot.)

AMA DISTRICT SERIES DETAILS

★ Awards for 1st through 5th presented at each district race.
★ Riders must compete in at least 4 of the 6 rounds and be at the final round in District 41 to be eligible for overall awards and contingency.
★ All rounds that riders compete in count towards their point accumulation. All riders will want to race all rounds to earn as many points as possible.
★ All 3 districts (Districts 20, 41, and 42) will come together on November 8-10 at 3Palms for the 2019 Texas AMA State Championship Finals. AMA Texas State Championship Final is a 2 day race format with practice on Friday.

★ Upon entry on Friday & Saturday, you will be charged for the entire weekend. If you leave on Saturday night, you will receive a refund for Sunday. (Ticket & gate receipt required for gate refund upon leaving.)
★ Front gate admission must be paid with cash or check only.
★ Children 5 & under are FREE!

We sell our RV spots for the season; all remaining unsold spots (6 spots) will be available FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED at each event ($30/day/30amp). No reservations will be made before the gates open for a race weekend. More info here: RV Hookups
All registration will take place on race weekends at the scoring tower using our touchscreen self-registration system. If you do not find yourself in the kiosk, or you are a brand new racer, you will need to fill out a paper entry form during registration so we can manually add you to our racing system for next time!
Be sure to bring your AMA card and 4-digit frame number of each bike you will be competing on to registration. You must ride the same bike for both motos. All minors must have a parent or legal guardian (with notarized release from parents) present to sign AMA release. NO VALID RELEASE = NO RIDE. (See below.)
Save time on race day if you’re already in our racing system! We can add you beforehand so you can register yourself using the kiosk when you arrive! You may email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) the needed information and we will get you added! (Submit by midnight on Thursday, August 22.)

NO VALID RELEASE = NO RIDE! All riders under 18 years MUST have a parent present to sign a release to be able to practice or race. Or you may bring a NOTARIZED release signed by a parent. AN UNACCOMPANIED MINOR WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RACE UNLESS THEY HAVE A VALID CONSENT FORM. All minors attending this event without parents, must come with a NOTARIZED statement from parents or legal guardian giving permission for another adult to act as guardian to sign releases.
If rider is COMING WITH A PARENT:
◆ Print out AMA MINOR RELEASE and have ready on race day to save time in line! These forms will also be available at Registration. ***Must be presented to registration by parent.*** Can not be presented by a “Legal Guardian” if they do not have a notarized release from parents authorizing them to be the legal guardian.
If rider is NOT COMING WITH A PARENT:
◆ If a parent will NOT be coming with their child, the parent will need to print this SWAN MINOR RELEASE and get it NOTARIZED so the listed Legal Guardian may sign the AMA release at Registration.
An AMA membership is required to race on SUNDAY as this is an AMA sanctioned event. Memberships and renewals will be available for purchase at Registration.
Save time in line on race day by signing up online! Be sure to print out and bring your temporary card as proof of current membership, or be required to purchase another one. Remember, YOU are responsible for having proof of current membership!

Notice: It takes several days for the AMA to process online memberships. PLEASE BUY ONLINE MEMBERSHIPS AT LEAST 1 WEEK PRIOR TO EVENT SO YOU CAN HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION FROM AMA. Otherwise, you will not have a way to verify your membership status and you will need to purchase another $49 Annual membership at the races. (You can request a refund from the AMA for the 2nd membership, or they will simply extend your membership for another year.)

★ Water is available for washing bikes- bring your own power washer.
★ PARENTS, PLEASE help us! Pit riding is allowed, BUT must be kept in 1st gear, and no riding in the grass.
★ Permitted pit vehicles include: Pit bikes, Golf carts, Side X Side, Scooters & bicycles with helmets.
All riders under 21 MUST wear a helmet when riding through the pits.
★ All permitted pit vehicles must be parked for the night by 10PM
• No one under the age of 14 is allowed to compete on a 250cc motorcycle.
• No one under the age of 16 is allowed to compete on a 450cc motorcycle.

AMA Texas State Championship Series Qualifying Rules:
The top 16 riders in points for District 41 and District 20 qualify to advance to compete in the AMA Texas State Championship Final. (Top 8 in District 42)
All rounds that riders compete in count towards their point accumulation.
All riders will want to race all rounds to earn as many points as possible.
AMA Texas State Championship Final is a 2 day race format with practice on Friday.
Protest Fees & Procedures:
The following AMA protest fees shall apply at all rounds:
★ Visual protests: $100 per item or component protested
★ Technical protests: $100 per item or component protested
Plus the following if applicable:
§ Tear down fees: $200 two-stroke/$500 four-stroke
§ Required engine removal: $100
§ Fuel test deposit: $325
★ Administrative protests: $100 per incident
★ In the event of a technical protest involving a teardown or removal of the engine from the frame, the protested rider may elect for the inspection to occur either before or after the final moto involving the protested machine. In the event the inspection is made after the final moto, the machine will be impounded between motos and/or the engine sealed pending the inspection.
